S03-內湖何宅
The house is designed to accommodate three generations. Although the traditional courtyard is a favored typology, the issue was how to adapt the courtyard to such a tight lot of 200 S.M.? Given the vertical nature of the volume, we decided to interpret the courtyard not as a plan but a sectional idea. Thus the courtyard which is the main public exterior space that is wrapped on three sides is turned into a deep balcony that is bounded top and bottom. The balcony, on the third floor, is an extension of the dinning room and kitchen. It is the space that the family will congregate for its daily meals. The house is separated into two masses of shear wall construction and linked by a glass bridge. The two vertical masses house the living quarter and the stair/elevator.
本設計案企圖在一個只有200平方米的基地內創造一個垂直的三合院。傳統的三合院三代各據一方的想法在此被現代化、實務化，變成一個剖面的解讀。本設計之1、2及4、5樓分別為三個世代的生活空間，3樓則為廚房、餐廳及一個大露台，可以提供家人用餐、集聚之用。
本案由兩個剪力牆結構之量體組合而成，中間以一透明的橋相連。大的量體為生活空間，小的量體則為樓梯及電梯。
設計時試圖以無樑板及剪力牆系統來達到空間的簡潔完整性而無傳統瑣碎的樑柱架構，盡可能達到結構構造與空間設計上一致的建築精神。剪力牆系統中以整體建築平衡以及結構效率為考量，以配筋的方式回應建築應力與結構效率。剪力牆中的類扁柱式配筋以及無樑板中的類扁樑式配筋即為此設計精神之體現。
